Cristine Agresta, MPT, PhD

Dr. Agresta is an Assistant Research Scientist and Co-Director of the Michigan Performance Research Lab. She is interested in improving assessment and monitoring techniques as a means to enhance physical resilience and functional durability in athletes and active individuals. Her work focuses on identifying metrics that appraise three critical factors relevant to sport performance and vulnerability to injury -- Player Load, Player State, and Player Value. She hopes to advance the utility of wearables in providing these metrics. Cristine continues to practice physical therapy and is lead clinician for the MiPR Running Assessment Service utilized by community and U-M athletes. Curriculum vitae
