Welcome to the Michigan Performance Research Laboratory
At the MiPR or "my P-R" lab we seek to help individuals achieve their personal best. We investigate the biomechanics of human movement to optimize function, enhance injury resiliency, and ensure lifelong health. We work with clinical, research, and industry partners to develop cross-disciplinary approaches to challenges in athletic performance, health and wellness, and sports technology. We incorporate wearable sensors and in-field assessments to gain more realistic understanding of individual and generic biomechanics. Additionally, we offer concierge running assessments to provide the highest level of personalized fact-based evaluation for the running community.
We are located in the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan and we invite you to explore our website to learn about the lab's projects, people, publications, publicity and participation. We welcome your questions or requests.
